A day late and a dollar short, I would just like to share that yesterday while the US was celebrating July 4th with the "F-trifecta" of family, friends, and fireworks, we here in Portugal were fighting for our own kind of freedom - from the tyranny of washing clothes in the kitchen sink. In addition to red, white, and blue we'll add black to the mix in the form of South Korea's flag and thank them for this very nice washing machine that we had delivered today :) Not remotely as historic or exciting, this was very much needed in the Arcand household.

I sincerely hope everyone had an outstanding July 4th holiday!
